New York Warrior Alliance is thrilled to announce their 4th Heroes Behind The Camo Event with Support Military Foundation and TriStar Motorsports honoring CWO Romulo “Romy” Camargo at the Daytona International Speedway in Daytona, Florida for the Nationwide Drive 4 COPD 300. CWO Romulo Camargo was injured in 2008 while serving in Afghanistan. He suffered a devastating spinal cord injury leaving him paralyzed from the shoulders down. Founder of NYWA learned of Romy’s injury from her brother LTC Jim Lechner who requested prayer and aide for Romy and his family. This initial request launched Operation Wounded Warrior, providing wounded military members and their families with aide while recuperating at Walter Reed. Romy is our Charter Warrior and his unbelievable positive attitude has been our inspiration to carry on supporting our country’s finest.
We are beyond thrilled and honored to announce that the local radio station Legends 102.7 has selected New York Warrior Alliance as their charity for their annual Day of Hope on 12/7/13 at 3 locations –

Southside – Tile Creations by Valerie, 2973 West Henrietta Road

They will have their beloved DJ’s broadcasting live all day from 10:00am – 8:00pm at the above 3 locations while accepting donations for wounded military personnel and their families at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and other VA facilities. Stop in and see us for this huge event.
